The Killing Floor is a 2007 American thriller film. It was directed by Gideon Raff, and stars Marc Blucas, Shiri Appleby, and Reiko Aylesworth.
Plot
David Lamont, a book publisher who is known to be ruthless toward friends, foes, and clients alike, moves into his new penthouse apartment. There he meets his mysterious and beautiful neighbor, Audrey Lavine, who lives on the third floor. Shortly thereafter, he receives a visit from an investigator and a man who claims that the penthouse belongs to his father who never sold it.

David tells them the apartment is his, everything is in legal order, and if they have a problem to talk with his lawyer. Soon after he starts receiving packages with the crime scene photos that apparently were taken in his penthouse. Later he begins to receive video tapes documenting his every move and believes someone is after him. With his assistant, Rebecca Fay, David begins to discover who or what is behind everything that is occurring.

Dark Ride is a horror film that was selected to play at the 8 Films To Die For film festival.
Synopsis
A decade has nearly passed since psychopath Jonah brutally murdered two twin teenage girls. Now, after almost 10 years of being incarcerated in a mental institute, Jonah has somehow escaped and has returned to his turf - an amusement park attraction named "Dark Ride". Unknowingly, a group of six friends, Cathy (Jamie-Lynn Sigler), movie buff Bill (Patrick Renna), Steve (David Clayton Rogers), Liz (Jennifer Tisdale), Jim (Alex Solowitz), and with Jen (Andrea Bogart) as a tag-along, are on their way to a road trip and have just boarded the ride, unaware of the deadly plans Jonah has for them.

At the end all but Cathy and Bill are killed. Cathy rams Jonah into spikes to save Jim, but the shock comes when Bill stabs Jim, who has bullied and humiliated him from before. It turns out Jonah is his older brother and only killed those who bullied his little sibling. This whole time was his chance for revenge, or "justice" as Cathy called it. Bill then gives his thanks to horrified Cathy, realizing as the police arrived that she is to blame for this as much as Bill and Jonah.

Plot Synopsis
In this adventure, a hotshot pilot loses his license after he attempts to fly through the Arc de Triumph in Paris. Later he and his buddy head for the Congo accompanied by an unsuccessful female artist to locate a crashed plane supposedly filled with a fabulous treasure. Wall Street is a 1987 American film directed by Oliver Stone and features Charlie Sheen as a young stockbroker desperate to succeed and a wealthy but unscrupulous corporate raider (Michael Douglas) whom he idolizes.

Douglas won an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Daryl Hannah's performance was not as well received and earned her a Razzie for Worst Supporting Actress. The film has come to be seen as the archetypal portrayal of 1980s excess, with Douglas advocating "greed, for lack of a better word, is good".
Plot synopsis
An ambitious stockbroker, Bud Fox (played by Charlie Sheen), is desperate to get to the top. He schemes to become involved with his hero, the extremely successful but unscrupulous corporate raider Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas).

Gekko is a ruthless and legendary Wall Street player whose values couldn't conflict more with those of Bud's father Carl (Martin Sheen). In an effort to win Gekko as a client, Bud visits with Gekko on Gekko's birthday and pitches him a series of stocks which Bud had been analyzing for some time. When Gekko turns down all of these ideas, Bud gets desperate, and provides him with some inside information which Bud had learned in a casual conversation the day before from his father, Carl. Carl is a maintenance chief and union representative at a small airline, Bluestar, and tells Bud it will soon be cleared of a safety violation after a previous crash. The ruling will bring the airline out from under government suspension, allowing it to expand its business.

An appreciative Gekko takes Bud under his wing but compels him to unearth new information by any means necessary. Bud becomes wealthy, enjoying Gekko's promised perks, including a fancy condo and a trophy blond, interior decorator Darien (Daryl Hannah).

As this mentor/protege relationship develops, Bud pitches an idea to Gekko. The plan is to buy Bluestar Airlines and expand the company using savings achieved by union concessions. Bud wants his father, Carl, to get union support for the plan and push for the deal. Although Carl is adamantly against the idea, and distrusts Gekko, Bud is able to guilt him into it.

Things change when Gekko decides to sell off Bluestar's assets, an act that would leave Carl and the entire Bluestar staff out of work. Betrayed by Gekko and racked with the guilt of being an accessory to Bluestar's destruction, Bud resolves to disrupt Gekko's plans. He angrily breaks up with Darien, who refuses to plot against Gekko, a former lover and the architect of her career.

Bud devises a plan in which he will manipulate Bluestar's stock value so that Gekko will decide to sell off his stock in the company. It will then be picked up at a lower price by Gekko's rival, corporate raider Sir Lawrence Wildman (Terence Stamp), who will become the airline's new majority shareholder. Gekko, realizing that his stock is plummeting, lashes out furiously at Bud and finally decides to dump his remaining interest in the company. Only later does Gekko learn that Bud engineered the entire scheme.

Bud triumphantly goes back to work the following day, where everyone is curiously in a somber mood. He enters his office where he is greeted by law enforcement officials and representatives of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Bud is placed under arrest for violating federal securities laws, is handcuffed and led out of the office in tears.

Sometime later, Bud confronts Gekko in Central Park. Gekko viciously assaults Fox, but not before mentioning several of their illegal business transactions. Bud is wearing a wire, and the police presumably will use this recording as state's evidence, although Gekko's fate is left ambiguous. The film ends with Bud arriving at the courthouse, ready to atone for his crimes.

Blazing Saddles - Soundtrack (By John Morris) (1974)



Blazing Saddles is a 1974 satirical Western comedy film directed by Mel Brooks. Starring Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder, it was written by Brooks, Andrew Bergman, Richard Pryor, Norman Steinberg, and Al Uger, and was based on Bergman's story and draft.[2] The movie is considered one of the great American comedies, coming in at number six on AFI's 100 Years... 100 Laughs list.

Brooks appears in multiple supporting roles, including Governor Le Petomane and a Yiddish-speaking Indian Chief. Slim Pickens, Alex Karras, David Huddleston, and Brooks regulars Dom DeLuise, Madeline Kahn, and Harvey Korman are also featured. Musician Count Basie has a cameo as himself. The film uses the ethnic slur "nigger" 17 times (usually used by whites) but was nevertheless a tremendous success.
Plot
In the American Old West of 1874, construction on a new railroad runs into quicksand; the route has to be changed, which will require it to go through Rock Ridge, a frontier town where everyone has the last name of "Johnson" (including a "Howard Johnson", a "Van Johnson" and an "Olson Johnson".) The conniving State Attorney General Hedley Lamarr (Harvey Korman) – not to be confused, as he often is in the film, with actress Hedy Lamarr – wants to buy the land along the new railroad route cheaply by driving the townspeople out. He sends a gang of thugs, led by his flunky Taggart (Slim Pickens), to scare them away, prompting the townsfolk to demand that Governor William J. LePetomane (Mel Brooks) appoint a new sheriff. The Attorney General convinces the dim-witted Governor to select Bart (Cleavon Little), a black railroad worker who was about to be hanged, as the new sheriff. Because Bart is black, Lamarr believes that this will so offend the townspeople they will either abandon the town or lynch the new sheriff.

With his quick wits and the assistance of alcoholic gunslinger Jim (Gene Wilder), also known as "The Waco Kid" ("I must have killed more men than Cecil B. DeMille"), Bart works to overcome the townsfolk's hostile reception. He defeats and befriends Mongo (Alex Karras), an immensely strong (but exceptionally dim-witted) henchman sent by Taggart, and bests German seductress-for-hire Lili von Shtupp (Kahn) at her own game, before inspiring the town to lure Lamarr's newly-recruited and incredibly diverse army of thugs (characterized by Lamarr as ideally consisting of "rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperadoes, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, half-wits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers and Methodists" in addition to nearly every other kind of stock movie villain) into an ambush. (In the later scene where Lamarr conducts his hiring event, the candidates in line for consideration include stereotypical bikers, banditos, crusaders, Nazis and Klansmen).

The resulting fight between the townsfolk and Lamarr's army of thugs is such that it literally breaks the fourth wall; the fight spills out from the film lot in the Warner Bros. Studios into a neighboring musical set (being directed by Dom DeLuise), then the studio commissary where a pie fight ensues, and finally pouring out into the surrounding streets.

The film ends with Bart shooting Hedley Lamarr in the groin at the 'premiere' of Blazing Saddles outside Grauman's Chinese Theater, saving the town, joining Jim inside a theater to view the end of the movie, persuading people of all colors and creeds to live in harmony and, finally, riding (in a limousine) off into the sunset.
