Adventureland - Soundtrack(Bonus Tracks) - 2009

slika

It's the summer of 1987, and James Brennan, an uptight, recent college grad, can't wait to embark on his dream tour of Europe. But when his parents announce they can no longer subsidize his trip, James has little choice but to take a lowly job at a local amusement park. Forget about German beer, world-famous museums, and cute French girls—James's summer will now be populated by belligerent dads, stuffed pandas, and screaming kids high on cotton candy. Lucky for James, what should be his worst summer ever turns into quite an adventure when he discovers love in the most unlikely place.Greg Mottola directs his own script drawn from personal experience, and his knowledge of people and places shows. He displays a superb talent for revealing nuances of character and environment. Jesse Eisenberg turns in another poignant and amusing performance; between The Squid and the Whale and this film, he shows that he is the perfect embodiment of youthful angst, yet he still manages to be completely human and utterly charming. His love interest in the film, Kristen Stewart, shines as the object of his, and others', desire. Adventureland is a hilarious coming-of-age tale that will speak to anyone who ever had the job from hell but still wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

The Blue Max - Soundtrack (By Jerry Goldsmith) (1966)

slika

slika

The Blue Max is a 1966 British film about a German fighter pilot on the Western Front during World War I. It was directed by John Guillermin, stars George Peppard, James Mason and Ursula Andress, and features Karl Michael Vogler and Jeremy Kemp. The screenplay was written by David Pursall, Jack Seddon, and Gerald Hanley, based on the novel of the same name by Jack D. Hunter as adapted by Ben Barzman and Basilio Franchina.
Plot
Bruno Stachel (George Peppard) is a corporal in the German infantry who leaves the fighting in the trenches to become an officer and a fighter pilot in the German Air Service. Joining a squadron in spring 1918, he sets his sights on winning the highest decoration, the Pour le Mérite, nicknamed the "Blue Max", for which he must shoot down 20 aircraft.

Coming from humble origins, Leutnant Stachel is driven to prove himself better than the aristocratic pilots in his new fighter squadron, especially Willi von Klugermann (Jeremy Kemp). Their commanding officer, Hauptmann Otto Heidemann (Karl Michael Vogler) is an upper-class officer whose notions of chivalry conflict with Stachel's ruthless determination.

On his first mission, Stachel shoots down a British S.E.5, but does not receive credit for his "kill" because there were no witnesses. He searches the French countryside for hours in a pouring rain looking for the wreckage, giving the other pilots the impression that he cares more about scoring kills than about the death of the man he flew with.

Soon afterwards, he attacks an Allied two-man observation aircraft, incapacitating the rear gunner. Then, instead of downing the helpless victim, he signals the pilot to surrender and fly to the German base. However, as they near the airfield, the wounded rear gunner revives and reaches for his machine gun, unseen by the admiring German observers on the ground. Stachel is forced to shoot the aircraft down, but Heidemann believes Stachel simply murdered a helpless enemy crew in order to gain a "confirmed" kill.

The incident brings Stachel to the attention of General Count von Klugermann (James Mason), Willi's uncle. When the general comes to the base to award his nephew the Blue Max, he meets Stachel. The general sees great propaganda potential in Stachel, one of the masses ("as common as dirt" as von Klugermann puts it). That night, the general's wife, Kaeti (Ursula Andress), mistakenly enters Stachel's room. She is carrying on a discreet affair with her nephew by marriage, with her husband's knowledge.

Soon afterwards, Stachel is shot down going to the aid of a red Fokker Dr.I attacked by two British fighters. He survives the crash landing. When he returns to the airfield, he is stunned when he is introduced to the man he saved: Manfred von Richthofen (Carl Schell), the Red Baron. Grateful, von Richtofen offers Stachel a place in his squadron, which Stachel regretfully declines, explaining his desire to "prove himself" with his current squadron.

With Stachel temporarily grounded owing to a minor injury, General von Klugermann orders him to Berlin to help shore up crumbling public morale. While there, General Count von Klugermann invites Stachel to dinner so that Kaeti can sleep with her latest hero.

When Stachel returns to duty, he and Willi von Klugermann volunteer to escort a reconnaissance aircraft. British fighters attack. Stachel's guns jam, but Willi downs two of the enemy on his first pass, then a third on Stachel's tail, and the rest disengage. As the two are returning to their base, Willi challenges Stachel. Spotting a bridge, Willi dives under the wide middle span, but Stachel tops him by flying under a much narrower side one. Seething, Willi clears the smaller span, but clips the top of a nearby brick tower and crashes. When Stachel reports his death, Heidemann assumes (correctly) that the two verified victories were Willi's. Insulted, Stachel impulsively claims the kills, even though it is discovered that he only fired 40 bullets before his guns jammed. Outraged, Heidemann reports Stachel's suspected lie to his superiors, but is told that Stachel's victories will be confirmed. Later, alone with Kaeti in her room, Stachel admits to her that he had impulsively claimed Willi's kills.

During a strafing mission covering the retreat of the German army, Stachel disobeys Heidemann's order not to engage enemy fighters; one by one, the rest of the squadron follow him. Afterwards, Heidemann has Stachel arrested, furious that nearly half the pilots were killed in the ensuing dogfight. Stachel, however, cares only that he has shot down enough aircraft, even without Willi's kills, to qualify for the Blue Max. The two men are ordered to Berlin. There, General von Klugermann tells Heidemann privately that Stachel is to receive the Blue Max. He explains that Germany is facing revolution, and the people need a hero. Heidemann resigns his command in disgust when the general orders him to withdraw his report; he accepts a desk job.

Later that evening, the countess visits Stachel and suggests that they run away to Switzerland since Germany's defeat is inevitable. She storms out when he refuses to give up his flying.

The next day, Stachel is awarded the Blue Max by the Crown Prince (Roger Ostime) in a well-publicized ceremony. However, a field marshal telephones von Klugermann to inform him of an impending investigation into Stachel's false claim to Willi's combat kills. The general asks how the field marshal found out about Stachel's lie. While listening on the phone, he turns his gaze to his wife. The insinuation is that Kaeti (the countess) informed the field marshal of all the details when Stachel rebuffed her advances to go to Switzerland.

Desperate to avoid a scandal, von Klugermann sees a solution when Heidemann reports that the new monoplane he has just test-flown is a "death trap", with struts that are not strong enough for the wing loading. Von Klugermann orders Stachel to fly the plane and tells him, "Let's see some real flying." The stress of aerobatics causes the prototype aircraft to plunge to the ground. Just before the impact, von Klugermann stamps Stachel's personnel file and seconds after impact, calmly signs it and has it sent to the field marshal, stating, "It is the personal file of a German officer and a hero."

jura007 je napisao/la:Mary Poppins - Soundtrack (By Richard M. Sherman & Robert B. Sherman) (1964)

slika

Mary Poppins is a 1964 musical film starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke and produced by Walt Disney, based on the Mary Poppins books series by P. L. Travers with illustrations by Mary Shepard. The film was directed by Robert Stevenson and written by Bill Walsh and Don DaGradi, with songs by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. It was shot at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.
Plot
The film begins with Mary Poppins perched on a cloud high above London in Spring 1910.[1] The action descends to earth where Bert, a Cockney jack-of-all-trades is performing as a one-man band at a park entrance. After the show, he introduces the audience to the well-to-do (breaking the Fourth wall in the process), but troubled, Banks family, headed by the cold and aloof Mr. Banks. His wife is the loving and spirited, but highly distracted, suffragette Mrs. Banks.

The Banks' latest nanny quits out of exasperation after the Banks children, Jane and Michael run off in pursuit of a wayward kite. Mr Banks returns home from his job at a bank, and Mrs Banks reveals the children are missing. Shortly a policeman arrives with the children, who ask their father to help repair their damaged kite, but he dismisses them and advertises for an authoritarian nanny-replacement. Jane and Michael draft their own advertisement asking for a fun, kind-hearted and caring person, but Mr. Banks tears up the paper and throws it in the fireplace. Unnoticed, however, the note's remains float up the chimney.

The next day there is a queue of old and disagreeable nanny candidates waiting at the door. However, a strong gust of wind literally blows the queue away, and Mary Poppins floats down with her umbrella to apply. Mr. Banks is stunned to see that this calmly defiant new nanny has responded to the children's ad despite the fact he destroyed it. As he puzzles, Mary Poppins hires herself and begins work.

The children face surprises of their own: Mary possesses a bottomless carpetbag, and makes contents of the children's nursery come to life and tidy themselves. Bert is an old friend of Mary's, the four of them share further adventures together: one of screever Bert's chalk pavement drawings leads to an outing in the country, while a tea-party is held in midair with Mary's "Uncle Albert", who floats uncontrollably whenever he laughs.

Mr. Banks grows uncomfortable with his children's stories of their adventures, but Mary effortlessly inverts his attempted dismissal of her services into a plan to take his children with him to the bank where he is employed. Unfortunately, Mr. Dawes, Mr. Banks' extremely elderly employer, aggressively tries to persuade Michael to invest his money in the bank. When Michael protests, the other customers misunderstand, and start a run that forces the bank to suspend business. The children flee and wander into the slums of the East End of London. Fortunately, they run into Bert, now employed as a chimney sweep. He takes them safely home, explaining that their father does not hate them, but that he has problems of his own, and that unlike the children, has no one to turn to but himself.

At home, a departing Mrs. Banks hires Bert to clean the family's chimney and mind the children. Jane and Michael watch as Bert sets to work. Mary arrives back from her day off and warns of the dangers of this activity, but is too late as the children are both sucked up to the roof. Bert and Mary follow them and lead a tour of the rooftops of London that concludes with a joyful dance with Bert's chimney-sweep colleagues. A volley of fireworks from the Banks' eccentric neighbor, Admiral Boom, sends the entire gathering back down the Banks' chimney. The singing and dancing continue inside the house until Mr. Banks arrives home, forcing Mary to conclude the festivities. Banks then receives a phone call from work ordering him to return immediately for disciplinary action. As Mr. Banks gathers his strength, Bert points out that while Mr. Banks does need to make a living, his offspring's childhood will come and go in a blink of an eye, and he needs to be there for them while he can. The Banks children approach their father to apologise, and Michael gives Mr. Banks his tuppence in the hope that it will make things alright. Banks gently accepts the offering.

A somber and thoughtful Mr. Banks walks alone through the nighttime streets. At the bank, he is formally humiliated and fired for causing the first run on the bank since the "Boston Tea Party" of 1773. However, after being at a loss when ordered to give a statement, Mr. Banks invokes Mary Poppins' all purpose word "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" to tweak Mr Dawes. He gives Dawes the tuppence, tells the old man one of Uncle Albert's jokes and raucously departs. Dawes mulls over the joke, finally "gets it" and floats up into the air, laughing...

The next morning, the winds have changed direction, and so Mary must depart. Meanwhile, the Banks adults cannot find Mr. Banks, and fear that he might have become suicidal. However, Mr. Banks, now loving and joyful, reappears with the now-mended kite and cheerfully summons his children. The greatly-relieved Mrs. Banks supplies a tail for the kite, using one of her suffragette ribbons. They all leave the house without a backward glance as Mary Poppins watches from a window. In the park with other kite-flyers, Mr. Banks meets Mr. Dawes Jr., who says that his father literally died laughing. Instead of being mournful, the son is delighted his father died happy, and rehires Mr. Banks to fill the opening as partner.

Her work done, Mary Poppins takes to the air with a fond farewell from Bert.

Criminal genius Grimm devises a seemingly foolproof plan to rob the Montreal Central Bank. Mary Poppins - Soundtrack (By Richard M.

The Cottage - Soundtrack (By Laura Rossi) (2008)

slika

The Cottage (2008) is a darkly comic horror film, written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams.
Plot:
Two brothers, David and Peter (Andy Serkis and Reece Shearsmith), kidnap Tracey (Jennifer Ellison), the stepdaughter of Arnie, an underworld crime boss. After a heated conversation at the kitchen table, Peter and David retrieve the unconscious Tracey from the car boot. As they try to get her upstairs Peter gets side tracked by her chest not realising that she's woke up. She headbutts him several times and Peter screams with pain. David manages to get her off him and has to fix Peter's now bloody and broken nose after tying her to the bed. The pair hold her for ransom in a secluded country cottage. Things begin to go wrong when Arnie's dimwitted son and stepbrother of Tracey, Andrew (Steve O'Donnell) delivers the ransom. Instead of money, the bag is filled with napkins. David and Peter realize that not only have they been deceived, but Arnie knew about Andrew's involvement in the scheme all along.

After Peter breaks his phone by accidentally dropping it in water, David goes down to the village to use a telephone box to call in another ransom. While there, he happens across some sinister locals who, upon learning that he and his companions are staying at the Barnarby Cottage, warn him to keep his doors locked. Disturbed, David returns to the cottage to find that Tracey — who has proven to be highly intelligent and resourceful, albeit foul-mouthed and somewhat psychopathic — has incapacitated Andrew and abducted Peter.

Some distance away, Peter and Tracey arrive at an ominous looking farm. Upon entering the house, they soon discover it to be the home of an insane and hideously deformed serial-killer known only as The Farmer (see section below).

After opening a trapdoor in the kitchen to reveal a secret staircase leading down into the cellar, Tracey is stabbed through the stomach by The Farmer. Terrified, Peter flees upstairs and jumps out of the bedroom window. Tracey survives her injury and calls out for Peter to help her escape too, all with The Farmer in pursuit. Peter manages to incapacitate The Farmer with a shovel, saving Tracey's life. Tracey then urges Peter to kill the madman before he regains consciousness, but he is reluctant.

As the two of them argue, The Farmer comes to and quickly amputates the end of Peter's foot with the shovel. As The Farmer is about to kill Peter, Tracey begins mocking him, ordering him to hurry up and do it. Frustrated, The Farmer suddenly turns around and gruesomely decapitates her at mouth-level with the shovel. He then knocks out a hysterical Peter and hangs him by his jacket from a meathook in the shed.

Meanwhile, Andrew and David, discover Andrew's hairdresser Steven (Simon Schatzberger), dying from being disembowled, before setting off through the woods in search of Peter and Tracey, when they stumble across the dead body of one of Arnie's henchmen, who has had his throat slit. Soon after, they arrive at the farm, where they discover a shed full of severed heads. The Farmer suddenly appears. David and Andrew hurry outside, where The Farmer pins David to the ground with a pickaxe through his leg. He then chases Andrew into the nearby horse stables, where he viciously attacks him with a hunting knife before ripping his spine out.

Peter comes to and manages to release himself from the hook and crawl across the ground to David. After making up for a lifetime of squabbling, they vow to fight on, and drag themselves back into the farmhouse in search of a phone. The Farmer soon reappears, tossing Andrew's severed head and spine through the window. David attempts to defend his brother, only to be suddenly impaled by The Farmer with the pickaxe. Outraged at seeing his brother murdered, Peter begins to throttle The Farmer to death by strangling him with a length of rope.

The Farmer manages to toss Peter down into the cellar and slam the door shut. But Peter still has the end of the rope, and he continues tugging on it, eventually causing The Farmer to collapse on top of the trap door. With the weight of The Farmer's body on top of the door, Peter is unable to escape. With nowhere else to go, he descends down into the cellar. He flicks on his cigarette lighter to reveal The Farmer's equally insane and hideous wife, son and daughters standing all around him. He mutters defeatedly "You must be joking" before they set upon him, the lighter goes out and Peter screams as they attack him.

After the credits, Arnie and his right-hand men are seen arriving at the farm. As they step up to the front door, The Farmer suddenly rushes out at them with the pickaxe raised above his head. As he swings at them with it, the image freezes and the screen fades to black.

The Closer You Get - Soundtrack (By Rachel Portman) (1999)

slika

slika

In a small Irish town, a postman delivers the wrong film for the monthly movie show at the village church. Instead of Charlton Heston's "The Ten Commandments," the projectionist shows the movie "10," starring Dudley Moore and a scantily clad Bo Derek. As a result, the single men of the town begin to fantasize about meeting exotic women and pen a communal letter to the Miami Herald to lure single female companions to join them at the town's annual St. Martha's Day Dance. As the men anxiously prepare themselves for the arrival of the American women they go to great lengths to make themselves more attarctive mates -- much to the bemusement of the women who run the village post office. After intercepting the letter before it ever left town, the female townfolk decide to teach their men a few lessons about courtship.

The Flock - Soundtrack (By Guy Farley) (2007)

slika

The Flock is a 2007 thriller film directed by Andrew Lau, the co-director of the Infernal Affairs trilogy. The film, which marks his first English-language film, stars Richard Gere and Claire Danes.
Plot
A hyper-vigilant employee of the Department of Public Safety (Richard Gere) checks on registered sex offenders. While training his young female replacement Allison Lowry (Claire Danes), he must track down a missing girl (Kristina Sisco) whom he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he's investigating; these are his last working days, because he has been fired for not working according to the rules of the department.

One of the main reasons that Gere's character breaks the rules is his habit to pry into the registered offenders, often having it stated throughout the film that he doesn't understand private issues; he is also very persistent in interrogating the offenders, mainly centering on Viola (KaDee Strickland) in the plot, who is known to have a connection to another culprit that Gere and Danes suspect to have taken the girl.

The Abandoned - Soundtrack (By Alfons Conde) (2006)

slika

The Abandoned is a 2006 horror film about an American film producer who returns to her homeland, Russia, to discover the truth about her family history.
A Russian peasant family is sitting down to dinner when a run-down, overheating truck comes to a halt in the front yard. The Father opens the door to find a now dead woman, obviously murdered, and two crying infants in the seat next to her.

Fast forward 40 years. We meet Marie Jones who has been summoned back to Russia by a notary who claims to have found her long dead parents and the home they once owned. As she mounts the steps to his office, she runs into someone, but brushes it off.

After meeting with the notary, who explains he found no other living heirs, she sets out to visit and claim her parent's home. She arrives at the house where her mother died and is "attacked" by a now very old mother who, in Russian, insists that she not go to the Kardinovsky Farm. They're interrupted by Anitoly, her guide, the only person willing to venture to the farm at night.

The farm sits on the "island" a small parcel of land surrounded by the river and only accessible by a bridge. After hours of driving they cross the bridge and stop just a few yards from the house. Anitoly tells Marie to stay put while he makes sure there are no animals between them and the house.

Marie waits, and then sees what appears to be Anitoly ahead of her, but when she leaves the truck, she finds herself alone. Within minutes the truck dies, leaving the forest quiet.

With no one around, and no where else to go, she enters the old house armed only with a flashlight and begins to investigate. While exploring the ground floor she hears a bang and a child wailing from upstairs and rushes up as quickly as possible to see... nothing. She enters the nearest room, a nursery, and sees, out of the corner of her eye, a woman walking past the door.

When she runs into the hallway she sees the same blonde woman turn into another room and she follows only to scream as she comes face to face with her dead self who appears to be very real and soaked to the bone. She runs out the door in time to see the truck (and presumably Anitoly) leave. In a panic she chases him and falls down a hill and into the river where, since she can't swim, she begins to drown.

She wakes up in a much warmer and brighter lit room in the house. There is a man (Nikolai) rifling through her wallet. Marie smacks him across the face with a log, then flees the room.

He chases her and explains that he is her brother and that he too was summoned by the notary. She is of course skeptical, as the notary had told her she had no brothers or sisters, but when he takes her upstairs and shows her their cribs she realizes he is telling the truth.

She tells him what she saw and he explains, that seeing your double shows you the way in which you will die.

Very quickly they meet Nikolai's ghost (a bloody, ravaged body) and they both realize they have to get out of the house and off the island. As they get ready to flee Nikolai falls through a hole in the floor and vanishes leaving Marie alone. She returns upstairs, determined to find anything to explain what is happening. Upstairs, in her parents room, she witnesses some of the events of the past as she watches her father stab her mother to death on their bed. Screaming, she turns to find her double behind her, yet again. This time it catches her in the babies' room and seems to suck out part of her life, leaving her gasping and disoriented. She flees the house.

There is a boat on one side of the river, and she takes it to the other side, leaving the island, and her dead self (watching from the shore), behind her. Unfortunately, it's too late, and as she runs through the forest, she finds herself before the house again.

This time when she enters, she finds the dining room is suddenly... clean and neat, as it must have been decades before. At the table, looking morosely at a birthday cake, is an injured Nikolai. He didn't die, but merely fell into the basement through the floor. He explains to Marie that he's figured out what is going on: they were never meant to have left the house in the first place. They were supposed to have died with their mother all those years ago and now, on the eve of their birthday, the house has called them back to fulfill their destinies at midnight.

When the clock strikes midnight, the entire house returns to the state it was in 1966, and they hear their father enter the house. Marie tries to intercept, hoping to change the past, but Nikolai intervenes and tells her that it's already happened and that the only way to survive would be to get away from there, in the past, where the house can't touch them. But when they try, they get separated. Marie ends up in the back of the truck as her father drives away with the infants (herself and Nikolai), whereas Nikolai sees the form of his long lost love, Natalie.

Her father stops at the barn, leaving one baby in a pig's pen to feed the baby to the boars, while he tries to drown the other in the bores water tank. Neither he nor his wife (who he had thought was dead) see Marie. Her dying mother shoots her father in the head and grabs both babies, fleeing to the truck. Meanwhile Nikolai turns to see his lover is now actually his father and then is attacked by wild boars, fulfilling his destiny.

Marie finds her father's now desiccated body in the farm, and is then pushed back into a pseudo-past where she realizes her father and the notary are one and the same. He's come back from the dead to lure his children to the hell he had created. She flees his office in the present and runs right into her past self as she comes up the steps, and continues to flee into the sunlight until she finds herself right back in the house, this time between the past the present, where the apparition of her father explains to her that he's always loved his children, and his wife, and couldn't let them leave him. She runs from him, down the hall and finds Nikolai's body, being eaten by the boars. As they tear off his nose and parts of his stomach, she vomits and falls against the wall. It's only when his dead self comes after her that she flees out to the truck parked out front and drives away.

Her father's voice comes over the radio, telling her to come back and join the family he has created, and then promises to take her daughter, Emily (who is in the States) but it's too late. The bridge that brought her there has been destroyed, and she plunges into the lake, drowning, and fulfilling her destiny.

The film ends with her daughter (who we now realize is the narrator) explaining that she knew in her heart her mother would never return. It's been months since she left for Russia and in all this time she's never had the desire to know what happened to her, or her parents, thus breaking the cycle and leaving her... abandoned.

The Dark Hour - Soundtrack (By Alfons Conde) (2007)

slika

The Dark Hour is a Spanish science fiction film, produced in 2007, written and directed by Elio Quiroga, and produced by Eqlipse Producciones Cinematográficas with Margaret Nicoll, Jérôme Debève and Juan A. Ruiz as associate producers.
The film follows a group of eight people who live isolated in a crumbling, unknown installation over four days. They are survivors of a cataclysmic war against an unnamed "Enemy". Pablo lives with Magda, leader of the group; Lucas lives with Mateo; Maria lives with Ana as her surrogate mother, Judas lives away from the others and Pedro is an ex-soldier who used to live with Magda. Jesus, the only young boy in the group, films the other survivors on a digicam provided by Judas. Jesus and Ana, his teenage love interest, have lessons with the other survivors and visit Judas in the basement to the complex whenever possible as he shows them films and treats them more like adults. On the way to him they pass corridors that are decrepit, badly lit and out of bounds, although Jesus leaves some food for the "Solitary Child" that lives in one of these areas.

Throughout the film dilapidated TV sets show old black and white cartoons and 1950's science films with a propaganda voice over talking about destroying an unnamed enemy using nuclear weapons. Jesus can often be seen watching these with Ana. Another states that the enemy has developed a virus that destroys the host's skin, making the victim constantly bleed but never die, becoming a carrier to infect others. To counter this Jesus dreams about going to the beach, standing in the sun and looking at the sea and saying "It's blue".

The survivors cannot leave the complex and they live in a constant state of vigilance from the threat of "Strangers" and the "Invisibles", the latter only seen as a freezing green mist that seeps around the corridors at night. The survivors only defence against this is to cut off the power and heat, causing the complex to freeze; the Dark (or Cold) Hour of the title. Strangers are those that have been infected by the virus mentioned in the propaganda films. With the food supplies are running out and urgently needing medicine and ammunition they must venture to a supply depot outside of the safe zone through tunnels and abandoned underground complexes.

Pablo, Pedro and Lucas are chosen to get supplies, though Pablo freaks out when the shrouded figure of a Stranger starts to follow him. Pedro uses the confusion to lead them into a contaminated area and pushes Pablo into a room full of Strangers, leaving him to become infected. Pedro and Lucas return to their complex to tell the others. Pablo's death devastates Magda and makes the other survivors ponder their dilemma and wonder if there is anyone else alive outside of the complex and if the children have any future. Mateo wonders if it would be better to kill the children then commit suicide rather than face the prospect of little or no future. Judas expands on the nature of the war, how it was one side of the Earth against the other, with Jesus and Ana.

The complex is visited by the Invisibles and Ana, unaware of the time leaves her room. She sees the green lights and frantically tries to get into another room. Mateo hears her and lets her into his room, where they kiss briefly.

Next day the Solitary Child comes into the complex. His home has been taken over by Strangers. As the children get him cleaned up the survivors organize a party to destroy the Strangers. Maria learns of Mateo's kiss with Ana and slaps him for taking advantage. During the attack Mateo is infected and killed by Maria, as too is Lucas who is killed by Pedro. Back at the complex a Stranger has got past the others and is chasing the children when Jesus is touched by it. They hide in a fridge until the others arrive to rescue them. Pedro wants to kill Jesus as he has been touched but is stopped by the others, especially Magda. Unlike the others Jesus doesn't become infected or start to bleed. Pedro starts listening to the walls and painting figures on them with a spray can. When Magda finds him Pedro is paranoid and talks about the voices behind the walls. Magda tackles him and off camera a shotgun is heard going off. Maria, Judas and the children come out of their rooms to see an armed Pedro, followed by a shot Magda in the corridor. While they talk Pedro starts to look off into the distance, behind the survivors the Invisibles are coming.

Pedro takes his gun and walks into the green lights while the other start to run in the other direction, supporting Magda. They run through the corridors firing at the lights. Coming to a garage Judas opens the doors as the Invisibles follow them, shown clearly for the first time. As they leave the garage the group are outside for the first time and it appears to be night. They drop their weapons and take a seat in a town square while being surrounded by Strangers. Jesus looks onto his camera and says that it will soon be over and they will join the others and become Strangers, but at least it won't hurt.

Jesus looks at the sky as the Earth rises over the buildings in the square, saying it is blue. As the camera pulls back one can see the complex is in fact in a geodesic dome on the moon. As the camera pulls back further one sees the Earth surrounded by debris, and eventually that the near side of the planet is completely shattered, almost to the core
