Super Bowl XXXVII was an American football game played on January 26, 2003 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion following the 2002 regular season.
Shania Twain, No Doubt, and Sting were featured during the halftime show. Twain was dressed in what many people viewed as a dominatrix-looking outfit and sang her hits "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" and "Up!". No Doubt then sang their hit "Just a Girl" with lead singer Gwen Stefani ad-libbing lines like "I'm just a girl at the Super Bowl!" The show concluded with Sting performing "Message in a Bottle", in which Stefani joined in midway through.

The film was directed by Keith McMillan and was 4 nights of concerts in Hammersmith Odeon to raise money for the victims of Pol Pot's reign of terror in Cambodia. The event was organized by Paul McCartney and Kurt Waldheim (who was then Secretary-General of the U.N.), and it involved well-established artists such as McCartney, The Who and Queen as well as younger new wave acts like The Clash and the Pretenders

This 2007 performance by Prnce is considered by many to be the best Super Bowl Half Time performance ever. The twelve-minute medley of songs (including "Let's Go Crazy", "Baby I'm A Star", "Purple Rain" and covers of Bob Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower" and the Foo Fighters' "Best Of You") was interspersed with spirited guitar solos. The show was performed in heavy rain that drenched the stage, shaped in the artist's "Love Symbol" logo.

Roxy Music are an English art rock group initiated during the early 1970s by art school graduate Bryan Ferry (vocals and keyboards). The other members are Phil Manzanera (guitars), Andy Mackay (saxophone and oboe) and Paul Thompson (drums and percussion). Former members include Brian Eno (synthesizer and "treatments"), and Eno's replacement Eddie Jobson (synthesizer and violin).
Roxy Music attained popular and critical success in the UK and Europe during the 1970s and early 1980s, beginning with their Top 10 debut album, Roxy Music, of 1972. The band was a significant influence of early English punk music, as well as providing a model for many New Wave acts and the experimental electronic groups of the early 1980s.

The stage was in the form of the Rolling Stones' trademark iconic tongue logo. The group performed three songs: "Start Me Up", "Rough Justice", and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction". The Stones performed on the largest stage ever assembled for a Super Bowl Halftime Show -- 28 separate pieces were assembled in 5 minutes by a 600 member volunteer stage crew, creating the dramatic, signature Rolling Stones “tongue” logo in the center of the field. The Halftime Show was viewed by 89.9 million people, more than the audiences for the Oscars, Grammys and Emmy Awards combined

The Dead Weather - The Basement Sessions (2009)

The Dead Weather gave their first UK performance in London (June 22) for Nigel Godrich's From The Basement sessions.
The four-piece, led by The White Stripes' Jack White and The Kills' Alison Mosshart, played a four-song set in the studios of Covent Garden's Hospital complex at 9.15pm.
The entire performance was screened live in a number of record shops around the country, on some Nokia phones and on FTBlive.com.
Kicking off with recent limited release 'Hang You From The Heavens', the band, which features The Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence on bass, then powered through their set without a break between songs, using feedback to fill the gaps.
During 'Bonehouse', Mosshart, pulling poses throughout, strapped on an electric guitar to fingerpick, while usual guitarist Queens Of The Stone Age's Dean Fertita switched to keyboards.
White stuck to drums throughout the set, occasionally contributing restrained backing vocals, leaving Mosshart as the centre of attention.

"This Binary Universe is the fifth studio album by composer and electronica artist BT, and was released on August 29, 2006. The album was a significant about-face for Transeau, largely abandoning the progressive trance music he was known for, in favor of ambient soundscapes, live orchestration and glitch music. It is the first BT album not to be released on vinyl, nor feature any singles (though an edit of "1.618" was featured on a compilation). The album was also composed specifically for DTS 5.1 surround sound. A film version of the album received a limited theatrical run, usually accompanied by appearances by Transeau himself. The album is dedicated to the memory of Transeau's dog Tootsie. The album's artwork makes nods to binary by spelling BT's name in morse code on the cover, as well as using additional morse code on the DVD menus."
